The productivity of education and research focuses on the field of new and renewable energy. To support the MBKM policy, the Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Study Programme of the Faculty of Engineering sets the following graduate profiles:

a. An Engineer that can design and evaluate equipment or systems with various existing provisions. The engineer fields of expertise include:

b. Technopreneur that can build or run a business engaged in engineering.

c. Educators that can transfer knowledge and build the student’s character.

VISION

The UNIB Mechanical Engineering Study Program produces competitive graduates by becoming the center for regional cooperation in the field of renewable energy technology in the Southeast Asian region.

MISSION

  1. Implement a learning system that equips students to have excellence in learning skills, specific skills, higher cognitive and analytical skills, as well as key and generic skills in accordance with the professionalism of Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Optimally utilize learning system support facilities that can be accessed by everyone with an interest.
  3. Optimally utilize facilities to support research and development of renewable energy technology.
  4. Optimally make use of cooperation with the community, both from the profession, industry, bureaucracy and the general public, both in the local, regional, national and international circles.
  5. Participate and actively participate in organizing activities related to research and development of renewable energy technology both at the national and regional levels of Southeast Asia.
