Mechanical Engineering Laboratory Facility The laboratories owned and managed by the Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Study Programmes, the Faculty of Engineering, University of Bengkulu, include 4 (four) laboratories:

  1. Energy Conversion Laboratory (LKE),
  2. Construction and Design Laboratory (LKP),
  3. Materials Laboratory (LM)
  4. Production Technology Laboratory (LTP).

The Laboratory of the Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Study Programme is intended to support the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM): Practical Machine Basic Phenomena, Production Process I, Production Process II, Engineering Materials, Engineering Drawing, Mechanical Drawing, Physical Metallurgy, and is also intended for practicum activities from universities and testing from other government agencies through collaboration across universities and provincial, city/district governments.

For Basic Practicing Courses (MK), such as Physics (MK) Courses, the Basic Laboratory of the Physics Study Programmes FMIPA is used with cross – faculty collaboration.

Besides being used for student practicum course activities, the Mechanical Engineering Study Programmes Laboratory is also used by the Mechanical Engineering Study Programmes Lecturer Group to test and measure laboratory equipment and facilities for research activities and lecturer publications.
