The Construction and Design Laboratory is devoted to expertise in the field of mechanical and structural design that relies on engineering mechanics, kinematics, machine elements, mechanical vibrations. The design in question is regarding the design of a machine or structure based on the strength of the material used, dynamic phenomena to the comfort of the mechanical system.
To support the research field, the Construction and Design Laboratory is equipped with various facilities and tools to support related research, such as fatigue tests, oscilloscopes, PLCs, microcontroller starter kits, basic machine phenomenon test equipment.
The scope of analysis or research carried out includes stress analysis, vibration analysis, structural design and analysis based on consideration of strength and dynamic problems, mechanism design and analysis, kinematics and dynamics analysis and robotic manipulator design, and mechanical system/machinery/mechanism design.
