Engineering Research Community (ERCOM) Faculty of Engineering Holds Workshop on Authorship of Scientific Papers

On Monday, October 5, 2022, the Engineering Research Community (ERCOM) held a Workshop on Writing scientific papers which were held at the Integrated Service Building of the University of Bengkulu. This activity was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Ir. Faisal Hadi. S.T., M.T.

The workshop session was filled by the first outstanding speakers Tafsili (outstanding youth, champion of writing scientific papers) and Iman Darmatama (Author of Scientific Papers).

According to the head of the committee, Tegar Abdillah, revealed that ERCOM held training in the form of extracurriculars for students, the Engineering Research Community (ERCOM) tried to carry out this activity by giving the nuances of a “Workshop on Authorship of Scientific Papers” for students of the Faculty of Engineering, Bengkulu University to take part in solving some of the above problems, both formal and non-formal, it is necessary to realize that one of the reconstruction efforts in the face of all that is to write a good scientific paper by scientific journals.

The same thing was also conveyed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ir. Faisal Hadi. S.T. M.T explained that this activity is very important. According to him, the student as one of the components of the academic community of the Faculty of Engineering, Bengkulu University, then has heterogeneous characteristics, its position and very strategic functions need to be fostered and developed. They as Human Resources (HR) who quite potentially need to increase their creativity so that they will become graduates who are by the purpose of organizing education at the Faculty of Engineering, Bengkulu University, and the purpose of National Education. To get there, it is necessary to strive for a conducive campus atmosphere in the form of curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities that are intact.


The main objective of academic services both in curricular and co-curricular forms is to lead students to reach the undergraduate level while coaching and developing students in the form of extracurriculars to mature student personalities by their potential and to produce/print reliable and professionalize young cadres for progress and achieve success and graduates who are by the ideals and goals of education at the Faculty of Engineering  Bengkulu University.
