Electrical Engineering Students Again Achieve National Scientific Writing Achievements
Electrical Engineering students took part in the National Level Scientific Writing Contest which was held at the University of North Sumatra (USU) in collaboration with the University of North Sumatra (USU) Student Administration. The UNIB team was represented by the Electrical Engineering Study Program consisting of Ade Anggian Hakim (TE’17), Kiang Santan (TE’17), and M. Rivaldi Ali Septian (TE’18). ASCO National Level Scientific Writing Competition 2019: Annual USU Scientific Competition and Exhibition with the theme Student Innovation and Creativity in Welcoming Indonesia Gold 2045.
This activity lasts for 5 days from 26-30 November 2019. This LKTI activity consists of several sub-themes, namely Education, Agriculture, Science and Technology, Energy, Health, Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. In this series of activities there are several competitions, namely the National Scientific Writing Contest, Scientific Poster Contest and Prototype Innovation Exhibition Contest.
Previously, the assessment of papers took several stages, namely through the selection stage and then this selection stage entered the grand finalist stage which consisted of 15 teams from universities throughout Indonesia, namely UGM, ITB, IPB, Diponegoro University, Riau University, Brawijaya University, Muhamadiyah University Makasar, Hindu University Indonesia Bali, Ahmad Dahlan University, North Sumatra University, Medan State University, Semarang State University and Bengkulu University.
From a total of 15 grand finalists who entered, the team from Bengkulu University came out as the 2nd Champion in the National Scientific Writing Competition while for the 1st winner from ITB, 2nd place in Brawijaya University, 3rd place in IPB, 1st place in the Hope of North Sumatra University, 2nd place in Hope of Bengkulu University . Best presentation from Semarang State University and 1st Best Poster from the Indonesian Hindu University of Bali and 2nd Winner Poster from IPB.
Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program at the University of Bengkulu Mr. M.Khairul Amri Rosa, S.T., M.T. very proud of the achievements of Electrical Engineering Students who always win at the National Level. The hope is that many more students will be able to make Electrical Engineering proud at the National Level and also be able to go to PIMNAS 2020.
